These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for December
2011:
As I was suspecting it (vacation drop), December had a decrease
of 20% compared to November and an increase of 21% compared to
December 2010. Comparing 2011 to 2010 I had an increase of 26%. It
was the best month ever for
Pixmac.

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for November 2011:
November was a good month with a small decrease of 1% compared to October and an increase of 51% compared to November 2010. Again it was an excellent month for DepositPhotos! It was the best month ever for PhotoDune, Stockfresh, and Superhug (if you sign up, please use referral "hlehnerer").

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for October 2011:
October was a good month with an increase of 20% compared to September and an increase of 64% compared to October 2010. Again it was an excellent month for DepositPhotos! It was the best month ever for PhotoDune, Pixmac, and Stockfresh.

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for September
2011:
I am so happy to see that all is back to normal! September had an
increase of 30% compared to August and an increase of 14% compared
to September 2010. It was the best month ever for
PhotoDune and
Photokore.
Again I have to mention
DepositPhotos! Only those months that they paid for uploading
are now better, but I had over a 100% increase at
DepositPhotos compared to the month of August. That is
impressive!

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for August
2011:
I expended to have a drop in August, but the drop was much softer
with only 11% compared to July. And an increase of 23% compared to
August 2010. It was the best month ever for
Dreamstime. At this point I also like to mention
DepositPhotos. If I don't take in account the first view month
where I received the promotion to get paid for upload, then August
2011 would have been the best month ever for
DepositPhotos.
DepositPhotos has shown a constant increase of sales for several
month.

This is my stock photography sales statistic for July 2011. You

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for July 2011:
Last month I asked "Has the summer hole started?". Well, good
question. July is 9% up compared to June, but slightly down compared
to last year July. Looking at the development of 2010 then it looks
more as a plain. When comparing 2011 to 2010 then I already reached
79% of last year and we are only halfway into the year. So overall
2011 is hopefully a good year! None of the agencies had a best
month, but the four agency named above in the list where strong this
month.

Has the summer hole started? I had an increase compared to last
year but a 19% decrease of income compared to May. Not really a best
month for any of the agencies. But there are two agencies I like to
point out, because they have a continues increase of sales
Graphic Leftovers and
MostPhotos.

May was an OK month it had a decrease of 18% compared to April.
But then April was a very good month. It was the best month ever for
Shutterstock, and
Clipdealer.

January was a good month with a 7% increase compared to December. It was the best month ever for Alamy, Veer, and Clipdealer.

Surprisingly the income remained constant in December compared to November. I expected to have a big decline in December, the same as the years before.
2010 was a good year for me. The income in 2010 climbed by 60% compared to 2009. This was way above my hopes. My goal for 2011 is to achieve a gain of 20%.
It was for none of the agencies the best month in December, but it was a good month for Shutterstock, Zazzle, iStockPhoto, Can Stock Photo.

It was an improvement of 7% compared to October, but worries me is, that it was a decline compared to last years November. Shutterstock is continuing for me to slow down. I hope that this is only because I am uploading less as my focus is on Zazzle in the moment. Yes Zazzle is not and stock agencies, and that is why it is not listed in the best four. But many stock photographer also use Zazzle and that is why I include it in my statistic. November was the best month ever for iStockPhoto, and Zazzle.

For the last view month it is just an up and done. I haven't had much time to upload many images, maybe this is on reason for it. October had a decrease of 24% compared to last month. October was the best month ever for iStockPhoto.

I was prepared for a big dip after the excellent month of July, but -32% was not to bad (hitting the summer hole). August 2010 was compared to August 2009 much better, and I reached in August finally the total income amount of last year. August was the best month ever for iStockPhoto, Photocase, and Veer.

July was my 2nd best month of all time with an increase of 111% compared to June. June was the best month ever for Shutterstock, 123rf, PantherMedia, ClipArtOf, Zoonar, and Zazzle.

June was a good month, but with small decrease of 11% compared to May (beginning of summer low?). Maybe it was also do to my effort for my iPhone App "Photo - Infos". This reduced the time I spend on creating and uploading new images to the agencies. June was the best month ever for Zoonar.

Yes, Zazzle is not a stock agency, but many stock photographer use their stock images there to create Zazzle products. I had some sales in January and February there with only a few images online. Then I was reading that some of my friends started to have more sales there. So I decided to start uploading to them. With first no sales in March and April, May turned out to be a good month. The next few month will show if my time was good invested. Overall May was a good month with an increase of 21% compared to April. May was the best month ever for iStockPhoto, Vivozoom, Alamy and Zazzle

I was very busy with other things in April. I only uploaded a few
images this month. This is and the end of the promo program at
DepositPhotos is probably the reason for a decrease of 50% compared
to March. It was the best month ever for

Zoonar.

to February . It was the best month ever for

DepositPhotos is still my best earner and there is an increase
in sale, but more then 90% of the income with
DepositPhotos is through the referral and affiliate program.

Well, January was a good month with some surprises, but ... most
agencies were only even with December, but still lower then last
November. The two agencies that mad January to a good month were
DepositPhotos and
Cutcaster.
DepositPhotos pulled up to the first rang because of its
promotion and affiliate program, and
Cutcaster came in with two extended license sales. It was the
best month ever for
Cutcasterr,
DepositPhotos,
Graphic Leftover, and
Zoonar.

December had as always a decrease to November, but this year it
was higher with 41% compared to November. Overall 2009 was a very
good year with more then doubling the revenue compared to 2008. It
was the best month ever for
Scandinavian Stock Photo,
Graphic Leftover, and
DepositPhotos.

September was a very good month with an increase of 5% compared to August. This is adding up to three month of increase in a row. It was the best month ever for Big Stock Photo, Featurepics, and Veer Marketplace. Veer Marketplace surprised this month with a sale of an Extended License.
